Vintage Volupte Compact Purse Combination With Black Satin Case
Circa 1940 - 1950
These glamorous compacts were very popular in their day.
Volupte made a name for themselves with design and quality.
**I have not seen this particular compact with the rhinestones on the handle in all my research.
Gently used condition and shows very little wear.
Lipstick case is empty and no comb included.
A small portion of powder is left in compartment. Puff and sifter pad in good condition.
Mirror is in excellent condition.
All hinges work perfectly and smooth.
Rhinestones on the handle number 36 with one missing on the very end.
The case is in great condition and has one minor very small hole. This is pointed out
in the first image with an arrow. Hardly noticeable.
The snap on the case is in tack and works perfectly.
Measurements:
Approx 4” across x 3” wide x 3/4” tall.
This would be a perfect addition for a collector of compacts
or a person who would just like to add a bit of nostalgia to that special area of a room.
