Vintage Coty Book Style Compact With Case. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
A lovely 50’s era compact from the Coty Co of New York. This was one of their special designs, the book shaped compact. It has a spine like a book and the recessed area mimics the look of pages. The outside design is a mixture of a textured and shiny gold finish. There is a push button that opens the compact. Inside is a mirror that has a few spots of clouding but is not cracked or chipped. There is an unused puff and a closed powder compartment which does not appear to ever been filled. The inside of the lid to the compartment is lined with a soft felt material. The inside is very clean and shiny. The Coty logo is engraved on the powder lid as well as the puff. The compact measures 3 1/2” x 2 3/8” and It comes with a soft beige felt carrying case. Overall the compact is in beautiful condition. I listed it as Used due to the age of the compact, but It was well taken care of and doesn’t appear to have been used at all. A very nice collectible.
