*Up for sale here is an excellent example of an early straight sided Coca-Cola soda bottle from Charleston, West Virginia. Bottle is quite scarce. It is in near mint condition, and the blue aqua colored glass is sparkling clean. Bottle was never tumbled. It has seen barely any wear, with no chips, pings or dings. It is in the seven ounce size, and is early ABM (machine made).
*It is crisply embossed on the front, as it reads ~ "COCA-COLA / Trade Mark Registered . Capacity 7 Oz." Then below near the base in a long rectangular slug plate reads the city name ~ "CHARLESTON, W.VA." On the base it is embossed ~ "Coca-Cola" in the script lettering. On the opposite side it crisply reads ~ "COCA-COLA / Trade Mark Registered / Property Of Coca-Cola Bottling Co." On the lower heel it has the "D.O.C. 6-2" Pittsburgh, Pa. glass house initials. Coke bottle looks to date from around 1910 or so. This superb example measures 7 1/2 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. You will be very well pleased with such a nice example as this one, from the state of west Virginia.
