*Up for sale here is a very scarce lady acl soda pop bottle from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bottle would date from 1941, as indicated by the date code on the base. It is in the taller 7 ounce size, and bottle is near mint, with slight oxidation with the lettering on the back. The front label is near perfect and bright, with a pin head prick on the label, which is non detracting. The extremely fine thin side seam runs near the right edge of the label. This non detracting, and difficult to notice. There is some well defined ribbing along the shoulder area of the bottle, and near the base as well.
*The bold red and white label shows a nice picture of a lovely deco era lady. The red and white pyro label crisply reads ~ "NECTAR / (lady motif) / Drink Of The Gods". The base is embossed ~ "G" (Glenshaw Glass Works / "662 / 1", for the 1941 date. On the back in white acl lettering it reads ~ "Contents 7 Fl. Ozs. / Every Bottle Sterilized / Contains Carbonated / Water. Sugar. Flavor Or / Artificial Flavor / Other Ingredients On Crown / Nectar Bottling Co. / Pittsburgh, Pa." This very scarce taller example measures 9 1/4 inches tall, and 2 1/8 inches in diameter. You will be very well pleased with such a nice example, from southwestern Pa.
