    Description

    Original WW2 Japanese Rising Sun Parade Flag with Pole.
    In great condition for age. Silk has no holes. Flag is 6" X 4 3/4" has 12" bamboo mast with top on the mast. See pictures.
    ALSO included is a:
    The international maritime flag for the letter Z has historic Japanese meaning and was displayed as a motivation for the war effort.
    This scarce flag measuring about 6” x 4 3/4” with a 12” bamboo mast is there but detached from the flag. Has some staining and small holes in the silk (look at pictures for stains and holes)
    The Japanese characters seem to relate to a battleship, which hoisted it at the battle of Tsushima.
