1899 Black and White Advertising From Collier's Magazine for Hires Root Beer and More. Collier's was an American magazine, which was initially launched as Collier's Once a Week, then changed in 1895 to Collier's Weekly: but was shortened in 1905 to Collier's: The National Weekly and eventually to simply Collier's. The Ad is a whole page ad, but on the back is a news article about the Spanish/American War, as well as smaller ads for Beecham's Pills, Eagle Liqueurs, Carmel Soap, Clinton Safety Pins, Pocket Knives, Holiday Trips and more. The Ad Page" is in excellent condition. There is no surface, edge or corner wear. All in all it is pretty fantastic piece of ephemera, which is more than 120 years old. Very rare and fascinating "1899 Black and White Advertising From Collier's Magazine for Hires Root Beer and More".   Collier's was an American magazine, founded in 1888 by Peter Fenelon Collier. It was initially launched as Collier's Once a Week, then changed in 1895 to Collier's Weekly: an Illustrated Journal, and finally shortened in 1905 to Collier's: The National Weekly and eventually to simply Collier's.
The Hires Ad is a whole page ad. The one page measures approx. 9-3/8" by 13-5/8".    On the back is a news article about the Spanish/American War, as well as smaller ads for Beecham's Pills, Eagle Liqueurs, Carmel Soap, Clinton Safety Pins, Pocket Knives, Holiday Trips and more.
This wonderful and original "Hires Rootbeer Ad Page"  is in excellent condition.   There is no surface, edge or corner wear. All in all it is pretty fantastic piece of ephemera, which is more than 120 years old.   (Please see all of the Photos above.)
Delightful and unique,  the "1899 Black and White Advertising From Collier's Magazine for Hires Root Beer and More,"   is a  wonderful example of advertising of the time, and would be a fantastic addition to any Victorian era collection!!!

Priority Mail International (Flat Rate) -Delivery can take 10-12 days business.
Very seldom a package will get "stuck" in customs for as much as
a month

We mail all packages in a timely manner. But a
delivery time can not be guaranteed, since the delivery is accomplished through the postal services of two countries, AND the package must be inspected by your country's Customs Department, before being delivered to you.
